My own design, with two spinning surfaces, one wide and shallow and one with a deeper conical dip to keep the spindle centered. The concave sides make the bowl easy to pick up and less likely to slip from the hand. I wanted to combine a practical use with a simple, functional, minimalist design that was also attractive. I use this bowl in my own yarn spinning.

The wood is American walnut.

Finished in sanding sealer and wood wax.
